Wine Estate Investment Profile |
|

On the northern side of the Balaton, one is quickly lured by this hidden picturesque village of Monoszlo, with its iconic volcanic rock cliff and 'Toscana' landscape. The Káli basin, with its Mediterranean micro-climate, was greatly admired by the Romans who referred to this jewel location as "Tvscvlanvm" or "Tusculanum", meaning 'holiday resort'. Historically, the Romans produced quality red wines in this region. Here a newly developed vineyard estate is taking shape with high standards in methods both traditional and contemperary. Stay tuned for the comeback of red wines of Monoszlo as they will most definitely up the standard of Hungarian wine making. Ownership: 100% Location: Kali Basin (Northern Lake Balaton).
