Wine Estate Investment Profile

On the northern side of the Balaton, one is quickly lured by this hidden picturesque village of Monoszlo, with its iconic volcanic rock cliff and 'Toscana' landscape. The Káli basin, with its Mediterranean micro-climate, was greatly admired by the Romans who referred to this jewel location as "Tvscvlanvm" or "Tusculanum", meaning 'holiday resort'. Historically, the Romans produced quality red wines in this region.

Here a newly developed vineyard estate is taking shape with high standards in methods both traditional and contemporary. Stay tuned for the comeback of red wines of Monoszlo as they will most definitely up the standard of Hungarian wine making.

Location: Kali Basin (Northern Lake Balaton).  The  TERROIR is otherwise known as the "PANGYÉR DŰLŐ" is the Highest Valued commercially operated TERROIR in Hungary.
Size: 10 hectares (3Km fenced in Vineyard)
Estate building permit: renewed 2009.

 

Investment Opportunity

Monoszlo vineyard and estates is open to further participative investment.
Vines planted: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Projected production: approx. 50,000 bottles (one bottle per vine principle).                            

 
Diners Guide 2009

On the occasion of the world famous Paul Bocuse d’Or culinairy competition 2009 the best chef chosen to represent Spain, Jesus Almagro, attended the film premiere in Budapest, about this bi-annual culinary event in France. The LISZKAY PANGYERI SZUZ CUVEE 2006 was chosen as the red wine of this event, where the best 10 restaurants in Budapest were awarded prizes by Diners Guide, for their quality achievements. The LISZKAY CUVEE 2006 was a great surprise to the public and wine professionals attending this event.
